Ok, I'm super lazy to do anything in Photoshop now (for example, editing the poster so that it looks less boring), hence I randomly Googled an image and hey, I'm satisfied with it. Either you like it or you burn. Grrr.

Anyways, back to praising/criticizing the musical! I'll start of with the pros.

* Cast was alright. Quite good, actually.

* The outfits for Donna and the Dynamos are pretty awesome.. :D I like Donna's outfit the best. Pity it's in green..

* Hilarious. Hands down the funniest musical I've ever been to. Although, I must admit, I've only been to like what, a handful of musicals. So this doesnt count I guess. Hehe.

* Orchestra was awesome. Especially the electric guitar. The music was nice and clear and really well presented.

* Oooh, the cast of the musical actually interacted with the conductor of the orchestra (one very brief moment). I think it's super cute. Now that I've never seen before..

* The set and props were, dare I say it, pathetic.. Could have been LOADS better. Still, perhaps simplicity is the best? Meh, it really could have been better.

* I'm sorry, but that Sky dude cant really sing.. He's like that dude in Wicked! Ah, how I laughed when that dude sang his duet with Elphaba. Elphaba TOTALLY drowned him out, the poor thing.

* Really. The set could have been improved. Two pieces of wall-things are not enough!!

* THE SET, THE SET. :O

Well, that's pretty much it. My evaluation of Mamma Mia! - A Musical. -bows-

Oh, so in conclusion, I rate Mamma Mia! a..

So! For other updates on my life.. Hmm..

I started Uni a few days back. In fact, today (as in Wednesday) is only my third day.. And I feel. I feel..

I dont know what I feel. -,-

Well, obviously I was totally freaked out the night before my first day. In fact, I ACTUALLY had trouble sleeping. Me! Pati! Of all people, I have trouble sleeping? Oh look, the sky is turning pink with streaks of glitter outlining the clouds!

Pfft! Besides being known as The Queen of P, I am also The Queen of Cheepy!! Well, Queen of Cheepy the Second, seeing Takara shall always be the original one.. -,-

Anyways. First day of Uni was seriously intimidating. When I first set foot into my Modern Asia lecture hall, I felt like dying. Still, I survived that (ULTRA BORING) lecture and (EQUALLY BORING) tutorial. I met two girls, but I felt as if we lacked the enthusiasm to really get to know each other.. So I sat alone like a little wooden puppet. God, I detest Mondays.

Tuesday was a little better. I met up with Emelia, as we are having the exact same lecture together.. It was nice seeing her again, after a whole long month. Ahh, Meme never changes. XD I then had lunch with one of my old classmates, and he introduced me to a Vietnamese girl. She was real friendly, and I found out that we had the same tutorial!! Finally, I have someone to talk to..

Now THAT tutorial was rather fun. I panicked a little when I heard that we need to have black markers for that particular tute, and that we have to DRAW. Wtf, I cant draw!!

We had a little 'Quickie', and I drew the world's most pathetic looking car stuck onto an equally pathetic looking wall. -,- My, am I in trouble..

Still, despite all that, I managed to have a little fun with the people in my group.. I dare say that I actually enjoyed myself in that tute.. WOW, amazing right? I thought I would hate anything and everything.

Today was.. Alright I guess. I was the only Asian chick in this entire class of Ang Mors. Well, I sat next to this nice girl who is half Asian.. We talked a little and there were times where we sat in awkward silence for a bit..

This making-friends-thing is not really going well for me..

And HOORAY!! Thursdays are my off-days, so I get to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING tomorrow! How fun!

Wish me luck for Friday, I'll freaking need it. One more lecture and tute to go, and this week is OVER. But no!! MONDAY WILL BE COMING SOON.

THIS POST IS SOLID PROOF THAT I AM NOT SLACKING! Ha, take that you stinky Buu.

MOVING ON!! Hmm, there seems to be a pattern by now. As in, I tend to crap a little before I begin my actual post.. Teeheehee. I am a person of crap. But mind you, I am a person of total funny crap. :)

We were supposed to meet up at 10am today so that we can drive to Brighton Beach together for our BBQ trip. So I (very) diligently got out of bed at 7.50am today, so that I would hog our only toilet for a reasonable amount of time, SO THAT my sisters will spend their reasonable amounts of time(respectively) in our only toilet. Woah, that's a really long sentence describing the difficulties of us in sharing our toilet..

My sisters' friend (whom shall be known as San XD), San, was lovely enough to plan this trip for all of us. I would like to give her a little shout-out to her here (if she ever reads this anyway), 'Thanks President San for the BBQ trip!!' -salutes in the vampire way- 'Your secretary signing off!'

Jos was with us too! She stole my phone and refused to give it back to me for ages! My phone battery literally went from 97% to 51% in within minutes. Stupid Jos. Ok that's a little harsh. I mean. Well, annoying Jos.

Before I start posting most of the pictures we took today, I want to highlight this (fairly) artistic shot of a seagull which I took. I am on my way in becoming a super pro photographer!! Haha, maybe not seeing my eldest sister will disagree wholeheartedly at that.

Nice not? The seagull looks so pensive and sad.. As if it's hungry for human soul, muahaha. OH FINE, I MADE it look pensive and sad. But I do love the colours and stuff, very nicely matched with the boats behind.. Plus the seagull butt is fairly adorable as well, no? YES. :D

From left to right, Aries, my second sister and San. :) My sister was drooling gleefully over the scrummy (this word exists right?) baked salmon and onions. Yum yums. And truth be told, I HATE cooked salmon, I think the texture is weird and the smell is fishy. Raw salmon is awesome (with wasabi and soya sauce), but cooked salmon, ugh. Despite that, SERIOUSLY LA, that piece of salmon was so delicious and I had lots of slices (considering myself as a Cooked Salmon Hater)! Greedy pig, oinky oink. -,-

Close up of the salmon and onions. Oooh, I would like to say I hate onions as well, raw or cooked. Having said that, I had loads of onions today, they taste really well with mushies and the salmon.. Lol, I've broken so many of my Food Rules today. AND I probably gained most of the weight I lost when I went back to Malaysia.. (I said that because *apparently* people actually told me that I lost weight. Lalala, did I?)

Jos and I. :) The wind was really strong.. Oh, I might as well mention that today's weather was COMPLETE *swear word*. It was a cold, windy, and pitifully sad day. I wore a thin white top and shorts, for crap's sake!! Everyone had a jacket on (or in San's case, a picnic blanket wrapped around her), and I had NOTHING. My blood froze a little, I think. ROAR!

I thought I changed my stupid STUPID camera settings. Sigh.
